Project summary

The realization of the offshore wind farm ‚RWE Kaskasi II‘, situated in the Northsea, is being undertaken by the innogy Kaskasi GmbH, which is owned by innogy SE. The wind farm comprises of Wind Turbines with a total capacity of 325 MW. The water depth across the site ranges from 18 m LAT to 25 m LAT.

Scope of Work

Thorsten Zell works as international welding engineer and Frosio Inspector. His project cooperation started in September 2018 and continues until today.

As civil engineer (design of offshore foundation structures) he is responsible for the design and certification process of monopiles and transition pieces.
